Kelly had earlier announced that she will not be attending any of the music awards presentations this year and had encouraged Miriam Yeung who is the hot favorite for TVB's Asia Pacific Region Female Singer to be brave and accept the award. Coincidentally, both of them were present at the Hong Kong Movie Development Board Christmas Party held on Monday evening. Their dressing were very matched as Kelly's red skirt looked like a Christmas flower and Miriam looked like a human Christmas tree.
As to many female singers had claimed that they were not capable to receive the TVB Asia Pacific Region Female Singer Award, Kelly laughed that all they needed was some courage. She has however not decided whether she will attend next year's music awards presentations as well. There were again rumors that Kelly was forced to get married and she again denied this and said that no one believed her. She added that she will not choose to get married so as to escape from work. Her work for next year includes promotion for her new movie, preparation for her concert and also be the torch bearer for the Olympics. Although she has no current plans for marriage, she has already reached an agreement with her boyfriend. Marriage will just come when the time is right.
