I thanks KCxLove @ Kelly Concerto Club Forum very much for finding this video! Thank you KCxLove! This is a mini musical during the Miss Hong Kong 1999. The main characters are Aaron Kwok and Kelly Chen, other characters include William So, Cecilia Cheung, & Michael Tse. In Part 1, Kelly sang "Automatic" in cantonese.

This mini musical talks about Kelly being a half robot, half person from the 23rd century and she falls in love with Aaron when she came to the 20th century, but she's not suppose to, so William So removes her memory, and Aaron has now became her enemy instead. Kelly got hurt when she was running away from Aaron. William So said "If she ever wakes up, Aaron could take her away", and Cecilia Cheung says "Even if she does wakes up, she won't remember you Aaron." Aaron then sang one of his songs, and at the end of his song, Kelly wakes up, and then she remembers everything and they're happily together!

I don't know if I translated good, but I tried my best, I didn't translate the whole musical though, just part of it. If you understand it good, you shouldn't have to read my translation.

P.S. - Ron Ng is in this video, this was back in 1999, so he was still a dancer. One reason I've been looking for this video was because I heard that he was in this performance, but I couldn't find it, until KCxLove found it for me, so I thank her a whole lot. I would later post an article more about Ron, and of course, it's Kelly related.

I would love to see Kelly working with other super stars, lol. I haven't seen this performance or ever heard of it, but it looks pretty interesting, Alan Tam & Kelly. I would like to see this performance, I wonder what they sang? Maybe Kelly was singing one of Alan's slow songs. Panther-Skinned Outfits Obsession

Kelly was obsessed with panther outfits at one time I guess, do you see any similarities in those two outfits? Yeah, they both have panther's skin somewhere. In the first picture, Kelly has a panther-skinned skirt, purse, and shoes. But she was wearing that probable because of the catwalk, but then how about the second picture, she's wearing panther-skinned capris, lol. At least this time she doesn't have a panther-skinned shoes and purse too. I actually think the second picture looks better than the first picture, the first picture has too much panther skin, lol. The second picture looks more...ummm....casual? I think that's the word for it.

Congratulations to Kelly! She finally reaches 12th place, and let's hope that she won't go back to 13th place already. All that hard work has paid off, but Kelly will be in 12th place for quite a while, because in order to beat Denise Ho, who is in 11th place, she'll need 185 votes!!! But I think we could do that, I hope we could though, lol. Miriam Yeung has gained 101 votes in 1 day! It would be hard to beat her, but Denise has only increased 10, while Kelly increased by 27 votes! If we keep this up, we will have a chance of beating Denise. Due to the members of Kelly Concerto Club Forum's comments about Kelly being on a swing a lot of times, I started searching for pictures of Kelly on a swing, and this is what I found, those other 2 pictures were probably from back in 2001, or maybe even 2002, I'm not too sure, sorry. As you can tell, the 2nd and 3rd picture are teh same swing, except Kelly has on a different dress, but her hair is the same too. As to me, I think the swing from the Maxim Mooncakes Ad is prettier than the other swing. Hmmmm, maybe that's why Kelly looks happier in that swing from Maxim Mooncakes? lol. I think Kelly also looks prettier in the Maxim Mooncakes AD too. What do you guys think?

The cast of the TVB series, War and Beauty, which includes Gigi Lai, Bowie Lam, Moses Chan, & Maria Chan, were performing in Malaysia to promote their series, which was a success. This was sometime back in November 2005, I believe. The quality of the video wasn't very good though, kind of blurry. At one part of the video, one of the girls just screamed, I think it was Gigi Lai maybe. And then Bowie's fans started screaming his name, lol. By the way, the song that they sang from Kelly is called "失憶周末", I don't know the english translation though.

Kelly Performing in a Japanese Musical, "Turandot"

Based on the information from the Japanese media, Kelly will have her first chance to appear in the classic musical Turandot with Nakamura Shidou and Kishitani Goro to be staged in Japan between March 27 to April 27.

This news was disclosed yesterday by the Japanese media. In the musical, Kelly plays the cold princess Turandot. When the HK reporters managed to contact Kelly, she had admitted that the talks were going on. She was of course interested in the role. However, she has many jobs on hand and the decision will lie on her manager. She further claimed that it will not be a problem for her to converse in Japanese in the musical.

Difficulties in Movie, "Kingdom and the Beauty"

Kelly's movie with Leon Lai "Kingdom and The Beauty" held its press conference in Beijing yesterday afternoon. Besides the two main stars making their appearance, producer Eric Tsang, director Cheng Xiao Dong and co-star Donnie Yen were also present. The 200 extras who acted as soldiers and fully clad in armour at the event were an imposing sight.

Kelly was specially dressed in a red skirt with 4 inched heels that made her look extremely tall. When they were having group photographs, Cheng Xiao Dong and Donnie Yen had to stand on a higher platform so that they do not look shorter than Kelly. To handle the horse riding scenes in the movie, Kelly had fallen off horseback for 5 times and had even left a scar on her right forearm. It will take a least a year for the scar to subside. However, Kelly has already overcame her fear and was prepared to get thrown down from the horse again. This time, she has also taken all necessary safety precautions. The most difficult part for her is to do action scenes in heavy armour. The armour was so heavy that she could hardly turn her body. She laughed that Leon had also given her tips on how to "loaf" as he is worried that she will get injured. After getting herself injured, Kelly sighed that being a action movie star is definitely not easy. Kelly does look to have lost weight. She explained that she was not used to the food and had diarrhoea.

Liza Wang's 40 Years in Showbiz Concert

Ah Jie, Liza Wang, held a press conference to promote her upcoming concert to celebrate her 40 years in showbiz. The theme for this concert is "I am me". Liza chose green as the main color in her poster, and Liza explained her choice of color, "Green represents "Evergreen". Actually, I thought it would go really well with Red Rubies as Rubies represents 40 years. However, because of security reasons, I decided not to. 2007 is Ah Jie's 40th year in showbiz, hence, this would definitely be a meaningful concert. Liza said, "To excel and perform well in one's occupation for 40 years is definitely not easy! I do admire myself and would continue to do my job well." Ah Jie said that there has been ups and downs in her 40 years. Go Zhi Sum also approached her to participate in a musical stage show but Liza feels that now's not the right time.Ah Jie, being the big sister of HK entertainment industry, definitely has the enormous support from everyone. Just her image alone is managed by 4 professionals. Ah Jie said that as she is currently filming for War of In-Laws 2007, she has not got much time to slim down for her concert. However, Liza has made arrangements to dance of the extra pounds by employing a professional dancer, Sunny, as a personal dance instructor. [Would there be any breakthrough in this concert?] Liza said that she would prefer to keep it as a surprise but she revealed that Mr Law Kar Ying would be attending the concert. When asked if Liza's considering to hold additional performances, Liza said that she is unsure of that as of now. [Would you be inviting Lydia Shum?] Liza said, "I hope that Lydia would be able to get more rest and I wouldn't bother her with my concert"

While, I knew Miriam wore the same dress as Kelly right when I saw the pictures for the 25th Hong Kong Film Awards pictures, but I couldn't find Kelly's picture of her wearing that dress too until now. As you can tell by the date, Miriam wore that dress like 4 month after Kelly wore that dress. (I wondered if they shared it, lol, jk) As to who looks better in that dress, they both look kind of the same, except for the height and the hair. But Kelly might look better in it because of her height. I wonder if they knew they wore the same dress? Well, it was a good thing that they didnt' wear it on the same day, lol.

Which One Looks Better?

Kelly is wearing the same shirt, I'm not sure when that shirt was worn though. I think she looks better in the 1st picture, I think it's her hair or something, & I think those gold pants look better with that tank top then those black ones. Her fur jacket looks prettier than the glitter one though, but I have no comments on the hats.

I wanted to make a goal for Kelly's votes, how about we try to get up to 600 votes for Kelly by the end of August.
