I believe this is the first MV Kelly has been in. It was back in 1995 when she had short hair, lol. It's a song by Jacky Cheung with Kelly in the MV. The song is pretty good. Not sure what the song is called in English though, sorry. If anybody knows, please tell me by posting on the comment box. Well, hope you enjoy this video.

I like the 2nd picture best. I don't like the 1st and 3rd one that much, I don't like the hair or the dress much. Kelly looks too skinny with the dress in the 1st and 3rd picture, that's why I like the 2nd picture more. I like the photo shots from the Jet Magazine with Donnie Yen more though, Kelly looked prettier.

Chinese New Year

Kelly had in all given 6 figure sum of red packets for the start of the New Year. She said that most important was to have an auspicious year and hoped that the staff will have work carried out smoothly and be healthy. For the New Year, Kelly had a 4 day rest and she had went to visit grandmothers. Besides this was to have a good rest before she starts her hectic work. On the fifth day of the New Year, she returned to work and started recording songs for her new album, shooting music videos as well as taking pictures for the album. The name of her new song is "Sorry, Audrey Hepburn". During June, she will have her concert at the coliseum and she is also the last singer to do so before it closes for renovation.

Her wish for the New Year is that her movie "An Empress And The Warriors" will have good reviews and box office earnings. The promotion work for the movie will commence in mid February.

Chinese New Year

Stepping into the year of the Rat, Kelly will begin her touring trip to various parts of the world to promote her new movie. Kelly said that as Leon is busy working on another movie, the responsibility to promote their movie will fall solely on herself. Although it will be hard work, she feels happy that it is a chance for her to meet her fans over the world. Do not think that she is going to retire as she has many big plans yet to be completed. As such, retirement is still far to her.

Besides the promotion for her movie, she needs to start preparing for her concert in June. She feels extremely fortunate to be the last singer to stage her concert at the coliseum before renovation. She will make full use of every corner of the coliseum so that everyone will remember how the place looks like before it undergoes renovation. The initial idea is to hang her in mid air. However, they are worried that Kelly will not want to do so. However, if all safety precautions have been taken care of, it is not a problem for her. She has faced hardships in her movie "An Empress And The Warriors" but it was unsubstantial compared to the effects. During the concert, she will also display the skills of sword and pole which she had taken great pains to learn for the movie.

How many performances will she stage? 3 years ago, she had done 12 and she will of course hope to break this record. However, all will depend on the response.
She missed the HK audience as she has not seen them for a long time. She had spent a great amount of time in movie filming last year and everyone will see her results in this year. Even though she already has a steady relationship with her boyfriend Alex, she also wished for "peach blossom fortune". The elderly have said that it is a form of being popular. As she is holding a concert, she will of course need to have popularity to draw the crowd. Her new year wishes is for everyone to be healthy and that everyone will sing together in her concert.

Kelly has always been treating her staff well. As she had expected that there will be continuous work for the year and that last year her assistant had accompanied her to China for a long period for the movie filming, she had given a big red packet to her as New Year gift. Kelly laughed that the sum is big enough for her to make the first down payment for an apartment! She has already bought an apartment and now she can afford to buy a second one. Kelly is well-known to be wealthy as she is always in the top 10 earners for the year. Unexpectedly, her assistant is also a small millionaire because she has a good boss!

Movie Promotion

Scheduled to be screened in HK this March, the promotion for the movie "An Empress And The Warriors" had recently started. Kelly and Guo Xiao Dong were in Beijing for the pre-screening of the movie's music video. The song is sang by Kelly and Leon Lai but Leon was unable to attend the event and was replaced by Guo Xiao Dong. After that they were to attend a pre-recording for the TV station's Lunar New Year show.

As Kelly is a professional singer, Guo felt extremely anxious and eagerly wanted to rehearse for the song at backstage so that the audience will not be disappointed. As to whose vocals were better (Leon or Guo), Kelly did not wish to comment. Although both of them played opposing roles in the movie, they co-operated well and Kelly felt that Guo is very gentlemanly. In one of the fight scenes, Guo had to step on her but he could not bear to do so and he had reserved most of his energy. It was till Kelly told him to use his might to step on her helm and was finally able to complete the scene successfully. After that, Kelly did feel some pain and saw a mark near to her head. Fortunately, it only required one take. It was both their first experience for a fighting movie. Seeing that Kelly was very serious in the action scenes, Guo had also remarked that he will put in effort to master them.

Her Boyfriend's Idol: Donnie Yen

Kelly's first ancient movie "An Empress And The Warriors" will be screened in HK in March. The music video of the theme song sang by her and Leon will be broadcast in Beijing today. She will also appear in the new issue of "Jet" magazine with her other co-star Donnie Yen. Both of them will have a "70 pounds relationship" in the movie because they are always clad in armor weighing several pounds. Donnie plays a general and he grew up with the princess. After the king died, he helped the princess to with his ability to ascend the throne as the new ruler.

Kelly had revealed that Donnie Yen is her boyfriend's idol. He has nearly seen all of Donnie Yen's movie, particularly Sha Po Lang, which he had seen 3-4 times and he feels that Donnie looks very manly. When he knew that Donnie will be acting with Kelly in a movie, he wanted to be at the filming scene to catch him in action. However, Donnie was not present during the two occasions. Donnie had praised Kelly to be extremely hardworking. One of the scenes required her to be showing her sword's play in the rain and she had to fall down and stand up for several times. Donnie laughed that he had no problems to act as a love fanatic as he himself devotes truly to his wife and kids. As to whether he will choose the kingdom or the beauty, he replied that both of them exists together and cannot be separated. Kelly, on the other hand, said that he will have to pick the beauty because she is the one.
