3D Gold Fashion Party

Kelly was in 3d Gold's fashion party in Beijing on Thursday night s she is the spokesperson. She had specially appeared in an unusually seen bombastic hairdo. Kelly remarked that she loves having different looks and challenges in roles. She had spent almost 5 hours to do her hair and her neck had turned stiff! However, she felt that this is worth it as it is very pretty. To pre-congratulate her new movie in having good box-office sales, 3d Gold had designed a set of jewels worth $380 000 for her to be worn during the movie premiere in Beijing and Hong Kong.
Guo Xiao Dong, who plays the villain in the movie, had also appeared as special guest for the event. When he appeared, he presented flowers to Kelly which surprised her. Guo had felt that it is a rare opportunity for him to work with Kelly, Leon Lai and Donnie Yen and they had become good friends.

Kelly & Donnie Filming "An Empress And Her Warriors"

Kelly had a scene in the movie "An Empress And The Warriors" where she learnt from Donnie Yen on how to use the pole. She had to spar with Donnie on floating logs and had to concentrate on her movements as well as her balance. Ultimately, she got herself drenched.

However, Kelly was still feeling excited because the director had praised that her hard work paid off as the fighting scenes look good. In fact, Donnie looked more anxious than Kelly because when the camera was on Kelly, he pointed Kelly to go left, right, up and down etc. She felt that it was harder work for Donnie as he had to reduce his strength while sparing with her. Kelly was full of praises for him that he does not show off and pin points others' actions. He would not overly concerned to teach me everything but he will give her some pointers when she faced difficulties.
On the other hand, Donnie admired Kelly for being hardworking as she would practise even during breaks. When he had to spar with her, he would definitely show mercy!

Kelly & Leon Filming "An Empress And The Warriors"

Kelly and Leon Lai have a touching relationship in the movie "An Empress And The Warriors". Kelly felt that the most romantic scene was when both of them took the hot air balloon. Kelly had even revealed that Leon was much more scared of heights than her. She laughed that on the day, she was extremely excited. However, Leon appeared scared and grumbled to complete the filming as soon as possible. Later when both of them were engrossed acting in their roles, Leon was more relaxed and said that it was fun.

In the movie, Kelly plays the princess and had to take over the throne as the king was killed in a war. The princess later was ambushed in the forest and had to escape with injuries. Fortunately, she was rescued by Leon. To film this scene where they first met, Kelly had to roll many times on the grass patch and she nearly ate the leaves that got to her mouth. The director wanted her to roll in a beautiful way. Kelly found that it was not easy as it required technique and she need to be accurate on how she land. She had once rolled down the slope with leaves covering her head and her face was covered by her hair. The director reminded her not to appear ugly as she would frighten Leon away!

Samsung LCD TV

Kelly was invited to film the new TV advertisement for Samsung's new high definition LCD television. In the ad, Kelly has her hair flow to the blowing wind, showing that there is no need to have a set-top box in order to enjoy simple clarity on screen. The high definition broadcast looks as if the real object is right in front of the viewer.

I believe this is the first MV Kelly has been in. It was back in 1995 when she had short hair, lol. It's a song by Jacky Cheung with Kelly in the MV. The song is pretty good. Not sure what the song is called in English though, sorry. If anybody knows, please tell me by posting on the comment box. Well, hope you enjoy this video.

I like the 2nd picture best. I don't like the 1st and 3rd one that much, I don't like the hair or the dress much. Kelly looks too skinny with the dress in the 1st and 3rd picture, that's why I like the 2nd picture more. I like the photo shots from the Jet Magazine with Donnie Yen more though, Kelly looked prettier.

Chinese New Year

Kelly had in all given 6 figure sum of red packets for the start of the New Year. She said that most important was to have an auspicious year and hoped that the staff will have work carried out smoothly and be healthy. For the New Year, Kelly had a 4 day rest and she had went to visit grandmothers. Besides this was to have a good rest before she starts her hectic work. On the fifth day of the New Year, she returned to work and started recording songs for her new album, shooting music videos as well as taking pictures for the album. The name of her new song is "Sorry, Audrey Hepburn". During June, she will have her concert at the coliseum and she is also the last singer to do so before it closes for renovation.

Her wish for the New Year is that her movie "An Empress And The Warriors" will have good reviews and box office earnings. The promotion work for the movie will commence in mid February.
