Kelly had replaced Joey Yung's position as the spokesperson for Maxim's Mooncakes. Being her first time to "sell" mooncakes, Kelly is most happy that she could eat free mooncakes.
As Kelly was in Beijing to film her new movie, the crew for the advertisement had to go over there as well. The ad shows Kelly practising swordsplay for her movie and was unable to reunite with her family in HK. She wished for spending time with her father to admire the moon and to consume mooncakes for the festive occasion. Her father had then suddenly appeared to visit her creating a heart warming scene.
Kelly claimed that spending the Mooncake festival with her family members would then bring out the true meaning of family reunion. She recalled the time when she was studying in US, she seen off her father after he had made all the necessary arrangements. She had then wished to be reunited with her family during every festive season.
For this advertisement, it was a great opportunity to display the swordplay skills that she had learnt for two months. The press conference for the announcement will be held shortly and Kelly will return to attend the promotion event.
